Young Builder of the Year Award Winner features on GB News

YBUK award winner St Eds has been showcased on GB News

Winner of the “Best Supporting Organisation’ award at the YBUK Young Builder of the Year Awards at the House of Commons in October 2022, St Edmunds Society, has been showcased in a GB News special programme.

St Eds built on their success at the Young Builder Awards by scooping one of the Centre for Social Justice’s Annual Awards.

The success of multi-award winning St Eds has now been featured in a GN News ‘On the Money’ programme. The 20 minute TV feature also included Aidan Arthurton who was Highly Commended in the Young Builder of the Year Awards.

Aidan had a difficult start in life, and following the death of both his parents at a young age he went into the care system. Thankfully he was adopted by a loving couple who provided him with a solid base from which to move forward.

At St Eds, Aidan flourished and proved to be a dedicated student, achieving a Level 1 Multi-trade Construction qualification. The promising 16 year-old has now moved on to a bricklaying qualification at St Eds.
