Death of YBUK Trustee David Pearce

The trustees of YBUK were saddened to hear of the death of one their colleagues, David Pearce, before Christmas. David had been a trustee since 2015.

David was a construction consultant and retired university academic. He started his working life as an engineer on construction projects, progressing to project and subsequently contracts management roles both in the UK and abroad. Returning to the UK, David joined academia where he ran a suite of university courses in Building, Construction Management and Project Management. Apart from his consultancy, David was active with various professional bodies, including CIOB, APM and Constructing Excellence.

The trustees have sent their condolences to David’s family and thanked them for his service to YBUK.
