Winners of the 2019 Young Builder of the Year Awards announced
Youth Build UK are delighted to announce the winners of Young Builder of the Year 2019.
Nick James from Jones Homes North West was chosen as the winner of the 18-24-year-old category and Dylan Connell of Barnardo’s ETS (North) as the winner of the 14-18-year-old category.
Youth Builder of the Year celebrates the achievements of young people, who despite having to overcome a range of barriers have succeeded in training for and gaining employment in the construction industry.
The winners were revealed at the Awards Ceremony held at the House of Commons on Wednesday 16th October, where the achievements of all the finalists were celebrated by their families, employers, mentors, senior figures from the construction industry and MPs.
