We would not be able to hold the Awards without the generous support of our sponsors. Our thanks go to Land Securities, NHBC, Orbit Homes, Places for People, Skanska, Toolstation and UKCG.
Our very special thanks go to Rt Hon Nick Raynsford MP, the President of Youthbuild UK, who once again hosted the Awards at the House of Commons. Nick has been supporting us for over 10 years and is standing down as President after the 2014 Awards. He has been a champion of the construction industry for many years and has always supported young people to succeed, whatever the barriers they may have had to overcome.
Angela Smith makes a presentation to Nick Raynsford
We are delighted that Angela Smith, Baroness Smith of Basildon, has agreed to become our new President. We very much look forward to working with her in the future.
The Awards Ceremony was a great day out for all involved – thank you all for attending.
