B&CE’s Charitable Trust – Giving back to construction
The B&CE Charitable Trust was set up in 1991 to help construction workers in need and it’s paid out over £2m so far. It was founded by not-for-profit organisation, B&CE, which has been providing employee benefits for the construction industry for over 70 years.
B&CE’s Charitable Trust has three main aims – to provide:
- financial help for people in times of need
- grants towards education, training and retraining
- grants towards occupational health and safety initiatives
For times of need
Life doesn’t always go to plan. The B&CE Charitable Trust is here to help individuals when difficulty strikes like redundancy or unemployment.
Help for education and training
We believe education and training can help build a strong future for the UK’s construction industry. We support initiatives that help individuals looking to start their career in construction or return to it after a break.
Grants for health and safety
We’re working towards a safer construction industry for all. The Charitable Trust supports groups focused on workers’ health and safety and works in partnership with trade unions, federations and organisations who deal with occupational health and safety initiatives.
