Carmarthenshire Construction Training Association Ltd (CCTAL) is a dynamic partnership of diverse contractors, located within the Carmarthenshire region. CCTAL members are driven towards a common goal and are committed to embrace sustainability and overall business improvement. The voluntary partnership aims to offer a mutual support infrastructure to member organisations. By means of active networking the group will provide direction, assistance business development support and more importantly for the promotion and enhancement of construction training in Carmarthenshire. Carmarthenshire Construction Training Association Ltd has been in existence for over 25 years and in 2001 became the first Independent Construction Training Association established in Wales. It was formed by Construction Employers in order to provide a forum within which training and company development could be discussed and implemented to the quality and quantity required by the Construction Sector in Carmarthenshire.

Cyfle Building Skills
Cyfle Building Skills is a Multi Award Winner Regional Shared Apprenticeship Scheme, with 3 regions, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion/Pembrokeshire and Neath Port-Talbot/Swansea, that currently employs over 140 apprentices. It is a Shared Apprenticeship Scheme that was launched by South West Wales Regional Shared Apprenticeship Ltd (SWWRSAL) and CITB in 2013 which is currently the largest Shared Apprenticeship Scheme in the UK. The aim is to provide a service which supports young adults into sustainable employment within the construction industry. This will help young people further their careers and their chances of gaining employment. They will have the opportunity to gain an NVQ level 2 & 3. It offers apprenticeships in the following trades: Bricklaying, Plastering, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, Accounting and Business and Administration.

Swansea Bay Construction Support Group
Swansea Bay Construction Support Group (SBCSG) is a collaboration of diverse contractors, located within Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea region. SBCSG is a grant funded, not for profit organisation that is committed to providing cost-effective training and development opportunities to its members. Being part of a training group means you get access to discounted training which can be organised at local venues, the support of the Group Training Officer to assist with your training needs, networking opportunities at group meetings, and being able to make your voice heard as part of a larger group.
SBCSG work closely with local colleges and training providers to identify training needs within the industry and where possible, endorse the achievement of recognised qualifications to training for future generations.
