Could you be the 2014 winner?
The 15th Young Builder of the Year Awards celebrate the achievements of young people, who despite having to overcome a range of barriers have succeeded in training for and or gaining employment in the construction industry.
We are seeking applications from two categories; 14 to 16 year olds still in education and 16 to 24 year olds in employment or training.
20 finalists will be chosen and invited to the Awards Ceremony at the House of Commons on Wednesday 15th October 2014, when the winners will be announced.
For 2014 there is a prize fund of £7,500 and the overall winner will receive up to £1,500 (including tools). All finalists receive a tools voucher and have a trip on the London Eye.
Kimberley made an application last year, hoping to to become a finalist, but never expecting to win. Send in an application, telling us your story and you could become the 2014 Young Builder of the Year.
